Constantin Boym was born in Moscow in 1955, where he graduated from Moscow Architectural Instutute. He later earned a Master's degree in Design from Domus Academy in Milan, and in 1988, Boym became a registered architect in the United States. In 1986, he founded Boym Partners in New York City. He has designed tableware, watches, furniture and lighting, as well as showroom and retail displays and exhibition installations. Boym's designs are included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. His designs for Geiger include the Arbat guest and lounge chairs and the Riga stack chair.
