A continuous gesture of comfort, quietly held in balance

Deft Armchair

The Deft Armchair's exposed wood frame is present from every angle without dominating. The fluid gesture of an upholstered seat and back is contained within. Arms extend in a continuous line to reinforce the sense that the soft interior is being held. A version without arms, the Deft Side Chair, is also available.

How minimal can the structure of a guest chair be? Khodi Feiz’s answer is Deft. He began with a wooden frame, pared down to its essential architecture. He kept it exposed on two versions of the design: a side chair and an armchair.
