Isay Weinfeld

Acclaimed Brazilian architect Isay Weinfeld has led his firm since its founding in 1973. His portfolio includes boutiques, restaurants, boutique hotels, and luxury residences throughout São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Weinfeld earned his degree in architecture from Mackenzie University, where he later taught architectural theory. He was also a professor of kinetic expression at Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado.

Weinfeld’s furniture is characterized by clean, angular lines and natural materials, continuing the lineage of Brazilian Modernism. His Domino Collection for Geiger was his first furniture collaboration with a North American company.

Beyond architecture and furniture design, Weinfeld’s creative exploration includes cinema and scenography. He is the recipient of numerous awards, and his work has been widely published worldwide.
