Sled Chair

A base of tubular steel is welded into a distinctive X shape and mounted on parallel rails. Seat and back upholstery, segmented into padded ribs, introduce a cadence of soft horizontal bands. Together, they create a chair that feels both taut and inviting. Available in a range of textiles for any interior setting.

Design Story

This 1966 design was originally produced by Brickel Associates, for whom Ward Bennett served as the sole furniture designer from 1964 until 1985. It became one of the first Bennett designs Geiger reissued after acquiring Brickel in 1993.
