Welded tubular steel wrapped in upholstery

Envelope Chair

This 1966 design consists of a welded tubular steel wrapped in leather or fabric. The taut drape of the upholstery softens the geometry of the frame without erasing it. This interplay between line and plane is so timeless, we reintroduced the Envelope Chair in 2004. It has been in demand ever since. Available in a wide range of textiles.
