Landmark Chair

Designed in 1964 and reintroduced in 2004, the Landmark Chair is one of Ward Bennett's most recognized works. Its solid wood frame is carved to the exact proportions he drew. Its French upholstery is applied with meticulous seam alignment. Also available with a cane back. Choose standard or low arms.

Design Story

Ward Bennett’s working method was reduction. He designed by stripping a form back until only what was necessary remained. For Landmark, he applied that process to a classic English chair. Today, the proportions he drew remain largely unchanged.
