Answers to common questions about our image library

  • The Images section of our site contains a mix of Geiger product images, including white sweep, environment, and detail photography and renderings. The images can be viewed, downloaded, or e-mailed from within the site. Low-, medium-, and high-resolution formats are available for downloading, but only low-resolution files can be emailed.

  • There are two ways to find images here. One is to perform a "Keyword Search." The second is to "Browse by Category" by selecting a product or designer by name. Selecting one will take you to a search results page containing all images associated with that specific product or designer.

  • Image results also can be filtered by style: white sweep, environment, or product detail. All three are selected as the default. If you only want white sweep images, simply deselect "Environment" and "Detail" before initiating your search.

  • Image results can be filtered by type: photography or rendering. Both are selected as the default. If you only want photographs, then deselect "Rendering" before initiating your search.

  • Yes. Multiple images can be downloaded at once. On the search results page, simply check the boxes on each image you would like to download, then click "Download Selected." A pop-up screen will appear to allow you to select the resolution you need. Once you've made a selection, click "Download Zip File" to start downloading all selected images at your desired resolution. If any of your selected images are not available at the desired resolution, the highest available resolution for an image will be downloaded instead.

  • "Zip Files" are files that have been compressed to use the smallest amount of memory possible. Zipped files are easier and more efficient to download, store, and send over the Internet or by e-mail. After downloading a "Zip File," you'll need to unzip it to have access to the individual items contained within it. To unzip a file, you will need to use WinZip, an inexpensive Windows utility, or UltimateZIP, a free program that can be downloaded from the Internet.   • The low-res files are 300KB or less. The medium-res files are 1.2MB or less. And the high-res files are 3.5MB or less.
